Karl Sanders
For the last 27 years, Karl Sanders has taken guitar playing to the extreme, earning accolades as a top metal guitarist and taking his band, Nile, from the dark corners of the underground 90’s metal scene to the Billboard charts, touring every continent along the way. Sanders’ aggressive and perfectionist approach to playing landed him a feature in Guitar World as well as quite a few signature guitars.
Sanders has worn multiple hats in the band, which no doubt owes its success to his tireless work ethic. Since 2005, Nile’s albums have been recorded from Sanders’ own Serpent Headed Studios, with live drum tracking occurring under his oversight at various renowned studios.
In addition to the immaculate engineering /recording of a wide range of instruments displayed with Nile , Sanders has also perfected the use of virtual instruments and acoustic Guitars , as can be heard on his Saurian solo projects- the latest of which used Bonfire’s quiet atmosphere for live tracking guitars.
